Hot Stove season! Literally!

Baseball just keeps moving! Here we go
1.The Washington Nationals have agreed to a 2 year, $10 million deal with C Kurt Suzuki. He will earn $4 million in 2019 and $6 million in 2020
2. The Boston Red Sox have traded INF Esteban Quiroz to the San Diego Padres in exchange for RHP Colten Brewer. Brewer showed promise when in the majors last year, and he has a good cutter which figures to deepen the Boston bullpen.
3. Here's a big one. The Seattle Mariners have traded ace pitcher James Paxton to the New York Yankees in exchange for top Yankee pitching prospect Justus Sheffield. The Yankees are reportedly still talking to Arizona about P Patrick Corbin
4. Indians C Yan Gomes drawing heavy trade interest, Yankees asking Seattle about SS Jean Segura, multiple teams reportedly talking to Arizona about 1B Paul Goldschmidt
5. Texas Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre has announced his retirement after 21 seasons
6. Mariners looking to move Cano, Segura, Yankees discussed signing Bryce Harper to play 1st base
7. The Tampa Bay Rays have DFA'd CJ Cron after a 30 home run season, reportedly to make room for prospects on the 40 man roster.
8. Jonny Venters and David Price have won the NL and AL comeback player of the year awards. There couldn't be a better pair honestly. Venters pitched for the Rays and Braves this season for the 1st time since 2013 after undergoing 3 Tommy John surgeries, and David Price stepped up for the Red Sox after ace Chris Sale got injured and threw good game after good game in the postseason. He also only pitched 11 games last year.
