Andrew Miller signs with St.Louis

Left-handed relief pitcher Andrew Miller has signed with the St.Louis Cardinals on a 2 year, $25 million deal on Thursday night, as Ken Rosenthal first reported. The Deal is reportedly worth $25 million and includes a $12 million option for the 2021 season that will trigger if the injury prone Miller appears in 110 total games in 2 seasons. If he doesn't reach that mark, his contract will be bought out for $2.5 million. Miller also received a no trade clause in his contract. Miller was dominant for the Cleveland Indians in the 2016 postseason, especially the world series, and was highly sought after this offseason, despite the fact that he is injury prone. Miller was held to 34 innings pitched last season due to hamstring, knee, and shoulder injuries. During a span of 2014-2017, Miller posted an ERA of 1.72 and a WHIP of 0.79
