The New York Mets and Seattle Mariners expected to reach a blockbuster deal that would send 2B Robinson Cano and RHP Edwin Diaz to the Mets for OF Jay Bruce, RHP Anthony Swarzak, and at least 2 top prospects. The Mets have reportedly started contacting players involved in the deal, but it has not been made official yet.
2. The Braves have signed C Brian McCann and 3B Josh Donaldson to 1 year deals, with Donaldson set to make $23 million
