The Seattle Mariners have signed RHP Hunter Strickland to a 1 year deal, according to Ken Rosenthal. Strickland had 14 saves in 18 chances last year for the Giants, and is most well known for getting into a fight with Bryce Harper in 2017

Seattle needs a 9th inning option after they traded closer Edwin Diaz, and Strickland could be their guy. Strickland had 37 strikeouts and a 3.97 ERA last season with San Francisco
