LHP Brett Anderson has signed with the Oakland Athletics on a 1-year deal, according to Jeff Passan. The terms of the deal are not yet known. This comes after dual-sport star Kyler Murray left the A's to play professional football, though the A's are reportedly trying to change his mind. Anderson spent 2018 with Oakland, and had a 4.48 ERA over 80 1/3 innings pitched. Anderson also made his major league debut with Oakland back in 2009, and spent 5 seasons with them. He had an average of a 3.81 ERA while dealing with injuries. He has also played for the Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Los Angeles Dodgers
