Correa wins arbitration case against 'Stros


Talented SS Carlos Correa has won his arbitration case against the Houston Astros and will make $5 million in 2019, according to Brian McTaggart. The Astros wanted to pay $4.25 million, and Correa will earn a $4 million raise after only getting $1 million last season. Over 110 games last year, Correa hit .239 with 15 Home Runs and 65 RBI. He averaged 22 HR's and 83 RBI in seasons past. Houston recently settled with Chris Devenski, and they still have an arbitration hearing with ace RHP Gerrit Cole coming up. Players have won 3 of 4 arbitration cases so far this winter, which includes Oakland P Blake Treinen and Colorado 3B Nolan Arenado. There are still 8 arbitration hearings left, which include Cole, RHP Aaron Nola, and RHP Luis Severino.
