Moustakas back in Milwaukee

Well, right after I predicted that free agent 3B Mike Moustakas would sign with the Los Angeles Angels, of course this happened. Moustakas and the Milwaukee Brewers agreed to a 1 year, $10 million deal last night, according to Ken Rosenthal. Earlier this offseason, Moustakas turned down a $15 million option to become a free agent. There were multi-year offers on the table from other teams, but Moustakas turned them down, as he preferred to stay in Milwaukee after a postseason run last October. Moustakas will likely play 3rd base for the bulk of the time, with Travis Shaw at 2nd base, although with the Brewers depth and flexibility, that is not set in stone.  Moustakas hit for a .251 average last season with 28 home runs and 95 RBI over 156 games with the Kansas City Royals and Brewers.
