Former Giants OF Hunter Pence has been signed by the Texas Rangers on a minor league deal, according to Texas's executive vice president of communications John Blake. The Deal includes an invite to Spring Training in Surprise, Arizona. Pence, who is 35, is a 2 time all star and 2 time world series champion, has had a sharp decline as of late. Since the beginning of 2017, he has hit .249 with 17 home runs and 7 stolen bases. Pence has played for the Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Giants most recently since he entered the big leagues in 2007.
