Twins extend Kepler


The Minnesota Twins have also given OF Max Kepler an extension. The extension is for 5 years and $35 million. Jeff Passan reports there is a 6th year team option. The 6th year would pay Kepler $10 million and has a $1 million buyout. Over 4 years with the Twins, the 26 year old Kepler has averaged a .233 batting average. He also has 56 home runs and 190 RBI.
