Brewers bring back LHP Gonzalez

The Milwaukee Brewers have signed LHP Gio Gonzalez to a 1 year, $2 million deal, according to Ken Rosenthal. Gonzalez also can earn another $2 million in bonuses based on appearances made. After making 3 starts with the Yankees' Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Gonzalez opted out of his minor league deal with the team. He pitched 15 innings, with 6.00 ERA and 19 strikeouts in Triple A. After he was traded to Milwaukee in 2018, he made 5 appearances with a 2.13 ERA and 22 strikeouts over 25 1/3 innings.
