Davis signs extension with A's


   The Oakland Athletics and slugger Khris Davis have agreed to a 2 year contract extension, the team announced yesterday. The contract starts next year and will pay Davis $33.5 million, according to Jeff Passan. Davis said that "Oakland has been a special place for me since I arrived, I love playing here in front of our fans, and my teammates make this feel like a family." Davis has started off 2019 scorching hot, batting .260 with 10 home runs. Since joining Oakland in 2016, Davis leads all of the MLB with 143 homers. Davis has hit at least 40 homers in each of the past 3 seasons.
