The New York Yankees have sent 3B Miguel Andujar to the 10 day injured list(IL) with a right shoulder strain, the team announced earlier today. Andujar suffered the injury while diving into 3rd base against the Orioles over the weekend. In a corresponding move, Tyler Wade was called up from Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Andujar finished second in AL rookie of the year voting last season. Andujar's injury comes after OF Giancarlo Stanton also hit the IL with a left biceps strain. This also further compounds the Yankees long line of injuries to start the year. In Addition to Andujar and Stanton, CC Sabathia, Aaron Hicks, Jacoby Ellsbury, Luis Severino, Ben Heller, Dellin Betances, Jordan Montgomery, and Didi Gregorius are all sidelined with injuries.
