David Price won for the first time in Yankee Stadium as a member of the Boston Red Sox as the Sox beat the New York Yankees 8-5 for their first win against New York this year. JD Martinez and Xander Bogaerts powered the offense, each hitting a solo homer off Yankee starter CC Sabathia. The Sox ended a 4 game losing streak with the win.

Martinez started the scoring in the first by homering to left off Sabathia. In the second, Eduardo Nunez added an RBI single, and Bogaerts homered in the fourth to make it 3-0. In the 7th, with Boston ahead 3-2, Michael Chavis scored on a fielding error by Clint Frazier in right field to make it 4-2. Later in the inning, Brock Holt and Andrew Benintendi each hit RBI singles to make it 6-2. In the 8th, Rafael Devers hit an RBI single, and Chavis hit an RBI triple. Brandon Workman finished the game for his second career save.

After getting a day off today, the Red Sox head to Kansas City, where Eduardo Rodriguez will get the ball on Tuesday against Glenn Sparkman. The Yankees welcome Toronto to town, where Masahiro Tanaka will start against Clayton Richard.
