There is now 6 days until MLB's trade deadline. With that in mind, we'll look at some of the most recent trade rumors.

The Tampa Bay Rays reportedly have expressed interest in Milwaukee Brewers 1B Jesus Aguilar. Both teams are in the midst of a postseason push, so a trade for Aguilar would have to have immediate impact for the Brewers. Aguilar had an awful start to the year, but now has started to improve, hitting .342 since the start of July. Yandy Diaz has been Tampa's primary 1B, but he's on the injured list. Other options are Ji Man Choi and Nate Lowe. Milwaukee dealt Choi to Tampa last year in exchange for Brad Miller and cash.

The New York Yankees have been in contact with the Arizona Diamondbacks, asking about the availability of Robbie Ray. The Yanks aren't the only ones who have inquired about Ray. The Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros, and Milwaukee Brewers have also expressed an interest in Ray leading up to the deadline. Ray has a 3.95 ERA and a 9-3 record this season. No Yankee pitcher has thrown more innings than Ray this year, and they need another starter, especially that Luis Severino hasn't thrown a pitch for them all year.

A source with the New York Mets has revealed that the chances of the Mets trading RHP Zack Wheeler are "pretty high," according to Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports. Wheeler currently is on the comeback trail after suffering right shoulder fatigue. Wheeler is expected to start on Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, and Milwaukee Brewers have been linked to Wheeler. The Boston Red Sox have been interested, but they may not trade for him after acquiring RHP Andrew Cashner from Baltimore earlier this month.

Continuing with the Mets, they have stated that they are open to dealing closer Edwin Diaz. Diaz was traded to the Mets this winter along with Robinson Cano. It appears the asking price for Diaz will be high. After a breakout year in Seattle last year, Diaz has struggled, with career highs in ERA(4.81) and WHIP(1.42). Diaz has still saved 22 games, and can still strikeout a ton of batters. He is also under team control until the end of the 2022 season.

Cincinnati Reds OF Yasiel Puig reportedly has become a strong candidate to be traded. Out of the all star break, the Reds were in a good spot, but have hit a snag and are now 7 games back of the NL central lead, which sets them up to sell. He was traded to Cincinnati this off-season along with Matt Kemp and Alex Wood. He has hit .262 with 22 homers and 13 stolen bases.

The Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Philles have reportedly been discussing a trade for Trevor Bauer, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. Bauer has been a top trade target, but Cleveland has run into a streak of success that has them at the first wild card spot, so they could be reluctant to trade Bauer. Bauer has also been linked to the San Diego Padres. The Phillies have scouted Arizona starters Zack Greinke and Robbie Ray, and GM Matt Klentak watched Tigers starter Matthew Boyd in person Tuesday night, so the Phillies are clearly looking for starting pitching. This season, the Phillies have traded for Brad Miller, Jay Bruce, Mike Morin, and Drew Smyly.
