Game 4 of the ALCS between the New York Yankees and Houston Astros has been postponed to to Thursday at 8:00 PM. As a result, game 5 will be pushed back to Friday, eliminating a day off that would be used for travel if the teams need to go back to Houston.

Astros manager AJ Hinch said that game one starter Zack Greinke will start game 4 on regular rest, with Justin Verlander set to pitch game 5. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that game one starter Masahiro Tanaka will start game 4 on regular rest, and has not yet named a starter for game 5, though the obvious candidate is game two starter James Paxton. Game 5 starts on Friday at 7:08 PM on either Fox or FS1.
