Welcome to 2022, readers of this blog! Whether you're a new reader or someone who's been here for a while, thanks for reading as I try to grow my career in sports. With this in mind and it being a new year, here's what you can expect from Strikeout Central in 2022.
Free agency signings + trades
Obviously, there can be no MLB transactions or team operations going on right now because of the lockout, but if this were a normal offseason, I would be writing about any free agency signings that take place, or any trades that go down. I mean, I was doing plenty of that before the lockout, and some of the backlog gave me posts to publish during the lockout.
Game recaps
If the season starts on time, or even if it starts late, you'll see daily recaps of at least one game on here every day, sometimes two if the occasion calls for it. There's even more recaps when it's playoff time, because during the playoffs, I do every single playoff game out there, regardless of the result. This is the bulk of the content on the blog, because there are games from April through October, and sometimes a little of November.
Strikeout Central Podcast
It's time for another 12 month slate of the Strikeout Central Podcast, keeping you informed since March of 2020. The goal for this year is to continue to provide new guests with fresh topics to discuss, and hopefully some more frequent episodes this year, because last year wasn't very good in that regard.
