Well, the Boston Red Sox have a 2-0 lead over the Dodgers in the world series as it shifts to LA, and with that series going on, there have been some managerial changes for teams not in the world series

Los Angeles Angles: The Angels named former Tigers manager Brad Ausmus as their new skipper a few days ago. Ausmus had a rough go of it in Detroit in his first managing experience, but so did AJ Hinch with his first team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hinch was then hired by the Astros and he won a world series. Perhaps the Angels are hoping Ausmus can do the same.

Minnesota Twins: After Paul Molitor was fired, the Twins have brought in Rocco Baldelli to be their manager. I don't know too much about Baldelli, considering his big league career was cut short due to injury, but I do know that this is his first managing go around. Notable first year managers to lead their teams to the postseason are Dave Roberts, Craig Counsell, Aaron Boone, and Alex Cora. Perhaps Baldelli can do the same with the Twins.

Toronto Blue Jays: This just happened about an hour ago. Toronto named long time minor league manager Charlie Montoyo their major league manager. Montoyo has his managing experience from the Tampa Bay Rays triple A affiliate, the Durham Bulls. While he has managed before, this will be his first major league team, and it will be interesting to see how things go.

Coming up on this blog will be offseason news as the offseason unfolds, as well as a recap of the world series, which, at this rate, could come sooner rather than later.
