Dodgers sign Pollock

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed star OF AJ Pollock away from his previous team and division rival Arizona Diamondbacks a few hours ago, according to Ken Rosenthal. The contract is for 4 years and $55 million, with a team option for a 5th year that, if activated, will pay Pollock $10 million. Pollock can opt out of his contract after 3 years if he reaches a set number of plate appearances. After trading Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig this winter, the Dodgers were looking for an outfielder that we all thought would be Bryce Harper, but ended up being Pollock instead. Pollock joins a Dodger outfield that includes Joc Pederson, Cody Bellinger, Chris Taylor, Alex Verdugo, and Enrique(kike) Hernandez. Pollock hasn't played a full season since 2015, and missed time last year with a left thumb fracture. Last year he hit .257 with 21 HR's and 65 RBI. Pollock also won a gold glove in 2015
