The Toronto Blue Jays and SS Freddy Galvis have agreed to a 1 year contract with a club option for 2020. 2019 will pay Galvis $4 million, and if the 2020 option is exercised, Galvis will earn $5.5 million, and his contract has a $1 million buyout which guarantees Galvis $5 million. Galvis hit .248 last season with the San Diego Padres, and had 13 home runs and 67 RBI. Galvis ranked 8th among qualifying shortstops last season with 7 runs saved
