Remaining notable free agents

Well, as spring training begins, there are still plenty of notable free agents left without teams, very much like last year. Here's a breakdown of all notable free agents and the team I think is the best fit for them.

Tyler Clippard(RHP)
Best Fit: Any team with a need for bullpen help
Clippard has good stuff, has bounced around a lot, and can fill a depth role in any bullpen. So really any team that needs bullpen help would be a good fit for Clippard

Bartolo Colon(RHP)
Best Fit: Literally anywhere!
Bartolo is amazing! He brings personality and a veteran leadership role to any clubhouse. Not to mention he's still got good stuff too! He had a perfect game through 7 2/3 innings against Houston! This man is amazing, it's a shame he has gone unclaimed so far.

Craig Kimbrel(RHP)
Best fit: Boston Red Sox
Kimbrel asked for all the money this offseason. Teams didn't give it to him because of his shaky postseason performance, which is one of the reasons manager Alex Cora went to Chris Sale to finish the world series. Kimbrel hasn't gotten what he wanted, and though the Red Sox are going through spring training preparing to find a new closer, a Kimbrel reunion with Boston is his best bet to get a job.

Dallas Keuchel(LHP)
Best fit: Cincinnati Reds
Keuchel has gotten interest from them, and they are a good fit for him. He has the stuff Cincy desperately needs at the top of the rotation. All he is in Houston is a depth piece, but in Cincy he can be their staff ace. He already got his world series ring in Houston, now he can move on if he so chooses. The Reds will take him gladly.

Evan Gattis(C/DH)
Best Fit: Oakland Athletics
Gattis had a good year in Houston, and the upstart A's could use another bat and more depth int heir lineup. Gattis is primarily a DH now due to his age, but could be an emergency catcher if needed. He can bring personality and leadership to the A's, who need a veteran to guide their young guns. Gattis would be a good add for this upstart team, considering that he has a world series ring.

Jose Bautista(OF/DH)
Best fit: St.Louis Cardinals/Pittsburgh Pirates
There's a tie between these 2 teams. Bautista had a somewhat resurgence last year in the big apple for the Mets, and the Pirates could use some outfield help, as well as St.Louis. Both teams also need depth, and if Bautista doesn't start, he can be a serviceable reserve piece.

Bryce Harper(RF)
Best fit: Philadelphia Phillies
It has been said the Harper will make his decision soon, and the Phils need outfield stability to go with Rhys Hoskins. Harper is a slugger and has some good work with the glove, which the Phils could use. Philadelphia has had a very busy winter, adding a lot of players, but I think a superstar like Harper can put them over the top and into the playoffs. Plus, the Phils are willing to give him a long term deal, which is the only deal Harper will consider.

Marwin Gonzalez(LF/SS/3B/2B)
Best fit: Pittsburgh Pirates/St.Louis Cardinals/Colorado Rockies
Marwin Gonzalez is talented when he's healthy. He also happens to be a super utility player. All of these teams could use depth across the board, and Gonzalez can fill that. The Cards need outfield depth and middle infield help, the Pirates need help everywhere, and the Rockies outfield needs a boost to go along with CF Charlie Blackmon. Gonzalez could also fit behind Trevor Story at shortstop and potentially get the starting second base gig with the departure of DJ Lemahieu. The possibilities for him are endless, and these teams would work best for him.

Mike Moustakas(3B)
Best fit: Los Angeles Angels
The Halos have just entered the Moustakas sweepstakes, and they are in need of some power. 3rd base is a position they could shore up with Moustakas, and he would give their lineup a power boost to go along with Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Justin Upton, and Andrelton Simmons. Moustakas would be a perfect fit in LA, and they should seriously pursue him.

Manny Machado(SS/3B)
Best fit: Why guess at this point
At this point, trying to pick a team for Machado would be a glorified guess. So many teams have been in and out of rumors with Machado, and it doesn't seem like he's anywhere near making a decision. I'm not gonna try and guess, I'd probably be wrong anyway.
