Rockies 1B Murphy fractures finger

Colorado Rockies 1B Daniel Murphy has fractured his left index finger and will be placed on the 10 day injured list(IL) according to manager Bud Black. Murphy suffered the injury fielding a ground ball in the 4th inning of Friday's game against Miami. He did end up finishing the game. Murphy will visit a hand specialist on Monday, and did not say how long he'll be out. He is coming off of a 2018 season that limited him to 91 games due to knee surgery. Murphy inked a 2 year deal with the Rockies this past winter.
