Segura, Yelich, Tatis leave with injuries

Philadelphia Phillies SS Jean Segura left Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins after getting hit in the helmet by a 90 MPH fastball from Trevor Richards. He was on the ground for several minutes before being replaced by Sean Rodriguez. Manager Gabe Kapler said Segura didn't suffer a concussion, but he will be re-evaluated. Saturday was Segura's first game in 2 weeks due to a hamstring injury. He is hitting .324 this season.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Christian Yelich left today's 5-2 loss to the New York Mets in the 5th inning due to back discomfort. After the game, manager Craig Counsell said that Yelich will miss Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies, but doesn't believe he'll need to spend any time on the IL. Yelich leads the Brew Crew in batting average, on base percentage, slugging, stolen bases, runs, home runs, and RBI.

San Diego Padres SS Fernando Tatis left today's 7-6 extra inning loss to the Washington Nationals after doing a split trying to make a play at second base. Tatis was replaced by Francisco Mejia. Tatis was the Padres top prospect this spring, and made the team after a good spring training. Tatis is hitting .300 with 6 homers and 6 stolen bases.
