The Oakland Athletics have traded RHP Edwin Jackson to the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations. Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said Jackson could make his debut on Wednesday in San Francisco against the Giants. The Blue Jays will be the 14th team Jackson has played for, an MLB record. The Blue Jays actually traded for Jackson in 2011, but then flipped him to the St.Louis Cardinals. The Blue Jays are currently in need of pitching, as Clay Buchholz, Ryan Borucki, Clayton Richard, and Matt Shoemaker are all injured.
