Don't even try to get a hit when Mike Soroka is pitching. Soroka carried a perfect game into the 6th inning of yesterday's 4-1 Braves win. He is already fielding questions about the all star game. Soroka said that ''I'm really just trying to put one foot in front of the other and make every start, all-Star break's a long ways away and a lot of starts to go until then. I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing. If that happens it'll be unbelievable but that's something that's not even worth thinking about right now.''

Adam Eaton of the Washington Nationals and Todd Frazier of the New York Mets are feuding. Both players had to be restrained during yesterday's Mets win after an on-field spat apparently sparked by trash talk from Frazier. Eaton said that "He's one of those guys that always says it loud enough so you can hear it, but you can't understand it." He went on to call Frazier "very childish." Frazier responded by calling Eaton immature earlier today. Both Eaton and Frazier are in the lineup for their teams tonight, we'll see if anything happens.

The Los Angeles Angels have placed SS Andrelton Simmons on the 10 day IL with a grade 3 ankle sprain, the team announced earlier today. The inital x-ray came back negative, but an MRI confirmed the injury. There is no additional information provided by the Angels, but grade 3 is generally the most serious. He hurt himself by jamming his ankle while crossing first base trying to beat out a grounder. Shohei Ohtani also left the game last night with an injury as well.
