Last night against the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners outfielder Mallex Smith had quite the day. Smith stole 4 bases, which included steals of second, third, and home to complete the "stolen base cycle". Smith's 4 steals in a game tied a Mariners record. The last Seattle player to steal home was Dustin Ackley back in 2012.

Don't worry, there isn't another member of the New York Yankees going on the IL. The Yankees are expected to activate lefty James Paxton off the injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the San Diego Padres. Paxton will start that game. Paxton hasn't pitched since May 3 with inflammation in his left knee. Paxton is 3-2 with a 3.11 ERA this season.

The Houston Astros have removed 2B Jose Altuve from his rehab assignment after he reported fatigue and soreness in his right leg. Another Astros star, Carlos Correa, was left out of the lineup for the second day in a row with rib soreness. Correa, Altuve, and George Springer, some of the key players for the Astros, are on the shelf, but Correa isn't on the IL. Altuve hit the IL on May 11 with a left hamstring strain.
