Kris Bryant got the rude reception he was expecting. After calling the city of St.Louis "boring" over the winter, the Chicago Cubs are in St.Louis this weekend for a 3 game set against the Cardinals. When Bryant walked up to the plate, he got showered with boos. In January, Bryant said that "Who would want to play in St. Louis? I always get asked, like, 'Where do you like to play? Where do you not like to play? And, oh, St. Louis is on the places I don't like to play." Yadier Molina called Bryant "stupid" after hearing his comments.

In case you've been living under a rock, Dallas Keuchel is still unsigned. But his agent Scott Boras doesn't think it'll take long for Keuchel to get ready if he is signed. Boras told MLB Network's Jon Morosi that Keuchel could be ready for a start within the first week of signing a deal. Keuchel rejected a $17.9 million qualifying offer from the Astros at the start of the winter, and after the MLB draft occurs, a team that signs him won't have to give up a compensation draft pick. The New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, St.Louis Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Rays are reportedly interested in Keuchel.

Kyle Freeland isn't having a good year. After he finished 4th in Cy young voting last year, the Colorado Rockies have sent him to Triple A Albuquerque. Through 12 starts, Freeland had a 7.13 ERA, worst among qualifying pitchers. He's given up 47 earned runs and 16 earned runs, leading the MLB and NL respectively. His 7 inning start against the Miami Marlins on opening day was the only time he's made it past the 6th inning this year. His last start only lasted 3 innings, in which he gave up 5 runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
