Andrew Cashner threw 7 strong innings, Renato Nunez homered twice, and the Baltimore Orioles blanked the Cleveland Indians 13-0 for the second straight day. The Orioles also won 13-0 last night against Cleveland. This is the Orioles' first series win since April. Anthony Santander hit the 100th homer to land on Eutaw street, which overlooks the right field seating. Chance Sisco also homered for Baltimore. The game started an hour and 10 minutes late due to passing thunderstorms.

Hanser Alberto started the scoring in the second inning with an RBI double to center field. In the 4th, Santander hit a solo bomb to Eutaw street, Jonathan Villar doubled in two runs, Trey Mancini doubled home a run, and Nunez hit a 2 run bomb to center field to make it 7-0. In the 5th inning, Mancini made it 9-0 on a single to center field, scoring two runners. In the 6th, Sisco launched a 2 run homer to right field to make it 11-0, and in the 7th, Nunez jumped on the first pitch and sent it into the left field stands for a 2 run homer to make it 13-0.

Cashner was scratched right before the delay started, but was renamed the starter when the start time was announced for 5:10 PM. Cashner walked only one batter and struck out 6 over 7 strong innings, and has now won 4 of his last 5 starts. This is the first time the Orioles have won on back to back shutouts since 2015, also against Cleveland. Indians rookie Zach Plesac lasted only 3 2/3 innings in the shortest start of his career. He allowed 7 runs on 7 hits and 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.

Baltimore has won consecutive games for the first time since May, and the Indians have been shut out 7 times this year. The Orioles are going for their first sweep of the season on Sunday, and will send Gabriel Ynoa to the mound. The Indians look to avoid a sweep by sending Shane Bieber to the mound.
