   Series tied 2-2

In a back and forth game, Yadier Molina was the difference. Molina drove in two runs, including the game winner, and the St.Louis Cardinals beat the Atlanta Braves 5-4 in 10 innings to tie the series at two games apiece. Molina simply said that "I like those moments." Manager Mike Shildt said that ''An elite, special player, that's what he is."

The Cardinals grabbed an early lead when Paul Goldschmidt and Marcell Ozuna hit back to back solo homers to give the Cards a 2-0 lead. In the 3rd, Ozzie Albies got the Braves on the board with a sac fly that scored Dansby Swanson. In the 4th, Ozuna jacked a solo shot to left for his second homer of the game. In the 5th, Adam Duvall legged out a fielders choice that scored Swanson and made it 3-2 Cardinals. Later, Albies cranked a two run homer to give Atlanta a 4-3 lead. In the 8th, Molina singled in the tying run, and in the 10th, his sac fly to left field won it.

Miles Mikolas got the win for St.Louis, working a scoreless top of the 10th. Original starter Dakota Hudson went 4 2/3 innings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits and two walks. Molina said of his walkoff that ''I lost it right there, I think I tossed the bat in the bullpen.'' Goldschmidt said of Molina that ''It's not an accident, the success that he has, he works really hard at it."

Julio Teheran got the loss for Atlanta, working the bottom of the 10th. Original starter Dallas Keuchel was ineffective on short rest, lasting just 3 1/3 innings and giving up 3 runs on 4 hits and one walk. Manager Brian Snitker said that ''We're a hit away from - just some productive outs - from continuing to add on." Snitker also had praise for Molina, saying that ''I mean, he's a ballplayer, he plays the game, he plays the game in front of him probably about as good as anybody in the game.'' Swanson said that ''We battled and we gave ourselves a chance, we just weren't able to get it done today.''

Game 5 will be on Wednesday night in Atlanta, where game two starters Mike Foltynewicz and Jack Flaherty will face off to see who gets to go to the NLDS. Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is excited, saying that ''In front of our home fans on Wednesday a Game 5, that's what it's all about so we'll be ready to go.''
