Happy draft day everyone. Despite there being no active MLB season at this time(imagine saying that a year ago), the MLB draft continues on. It was supposed to be held in Omaha, Nebraska, during the College World Series, but these times call for adaptation, and MLB did that in the case of the draft. They also lowered it from 40 rounds all the way down to 5. Here is Strikeout Central's guide to the 2020 MLB draft, which will take place tonight and tomorrow night.

How to watch
Round 1(June 10): 7:00 PM EST, ESPN, MLB Network, TSN3
Rounds 2-5(June 11): 5:00 PM EST, ESPN, MLB Network
Day one will have 37 total draft picks. 29 in the first round of the draft, and an additional 8 in competitive balance round A. Day two will consist of 4 regular rounds plus multiple competitive balance rounds. The Detroit Tigers hold the first overall pick for the second time in three years. They had the first pick in 2018, which they used on Auburn RHP Casey Mize.
