Yesterday, I covered the AL East top prospects who could hit the big leagues this season due to the expanded rosters. Now, it's one prospect from each AL Central team who could debut this season.

Minnesota Twins: Royce Lewis, SS
The Twins have a deep infield, headlined by Josh Donaldson, Luis Arraez, Jorge Polanco, and Miguel Sano. Under normal conditions, Lewis, the Twins' top prospect, might not have been able to break through in that infield crowd. Now, it seems he'll get his shot. Whether he breaks the 30 man opening day roster remains to be seen, but at the very least, he's a part of the player pool, and should get serious consideration for a spot should someone in the infield go down. He'll be someone to keep an eye on this season.

Chicago White Sox: Nick Madrigal, 2B
With top prospect Luis Robert all but guaranteed a spot thanks to his contract extension, the honor here goes to Chicago's number 4 prospect in Madrigal. He's blocked by Leury Garcia in the second base fold right now, but he's got all the tools and potential to possibly take Garcia's job this season, be it through an injury or just plain performance. Madrigal is all set to become an important cog to the team's future at a keystone position.

Cleveland Indians: Nolan Jones, 3B
The Indians top prospect, Jones, is the obvious big fish, due to Cleveland's other top prospects being at least an extra year away. As he plays at the hot corner, Jones has a quick reaction time on balls down the line, which creates good defensive play. He is also a patient hitter, able to use the entire field, and has 30 homer potential at the big league level. He could be the next Jose Ramirez in Cleveland, who is currently the entrenched third baseman.

Kansas City Royals: Brady Singer, RHP
The Royals have stockpiled on pitching in the last couple drafts, and Singer was one of those pitchers. Now, the top pitching prospect and number two overall is in KC's player pool, ready to hit the big time. Singer's bread and butter on the mound is his deadly sinker-slider combo, which proves very hard to hit. His fastball is also dominating, as he can control the speed with ease. The changeup has been the one knock on Singer, but he's sure to improve. With the Royals in rebuild mode, they'll trot out their top pitchers sooner rather than later.

Detroit Tigers: Casey Mize, RHP
This is the obvious big one. Mize was the top pick in the 2018 draft, and has blazed through the minors with ease. Now, the future ace of the Tigers will get his shot, included in the player pool with a legitimate chance to make the team. Mize's best pitch is the splitter, which is already at the elite level that fools hitters every time, even if they know it's coming. Right after is the fastball, which has already touched 97 on the gun, so he's got the arm strength and velocity. Watch out baseball, Casey Mize is coming for you.
