I've covered the AL East and AL Central, now it's one top prospect from each team in the AL West who could debut this season, with the expanded rosters in effect.

Los Angeles Angels: Jo Adell, OF
Adell, the top prospect in the Angels system, was going to make his debut in 2020 regardless of whether he broke spring training with the team or not. With the expanded rosters, there are more roster spots, so Adell staying with the team all season is all but set in stone, barring an injury. This kid is something special, and Adell and Mike Trout in the same outfield is scary for every other baseball team.

Houston Astros: Forrest Whitley, RHP
The Astros had a rotation hole after Gerrit Cole left for the Yankees, so Whitley might have made his much anticipated MLB debut this season regardless of this pandemic. Despite that, the Astros top prospect is quite the treat to watch. He features 5 pitches that can pack a punch, with his changeup looking eerily similar to his fastball. Said fastball has topped out at 97 mph, and could get to 100 with more efficiency. Watch out baseball.

Oakland Athletics: AJ Puk, LHP
Both Puk and top prospect Jesus Luzardo are set to make their debuts this season, which greatly helps the notoriously sketchy starting rotation in Oakland. Puk's fastball is golden, as he regularly hits in the upper 90's and has hit triple digits multiple times as well. His offering of offspeed pitches doesn't disappoint either, as his slider and changeup can both get into the 90's as well. He can also sneak in a hooking curve to keep you guessing too. A rotation of Sean Manaea, Frankie Montas, Luzardo, and Puk could mean great things in store for the moneyball boys.

Texas Rangers: Josh Jung, 3B
The Rangers top prospect, who under normal circumstances might not have gotten a shot at the big leagues this year, might have his chance this season. Jung has great pitch recognition, and doesn't try to slug homers every at bat, but he can hit plenty. He is more of a gap to gap hitter, which gives the potential for plenty of extra base hits in Arlington. He's also very steady with the glove, making just two errors in 38 pro games last summer.

Seattle Mariners: Jarred Kelenic, OF
Kelenic is exactly the player Seattle needs on their roster during their rebuild. After arriving in a trade for Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz, Kelenic has raked his way through the minors, and he is poised to make the jump to the big leagues this season. He is a patient hitter and can hit the ball to all fields. He can also run, with the ability for 30-30 potential in a normal season, which also helps him run down fly balls in center field as well. Kelenic is going to be a beast, and it starts this year.
