Chicago Cubs: Adbert Alzolay, RHP
Top prospect Nico Hoerner has already debuted, so Alzolay gets the spot here. Alzolay's best combo is the fastball-curveball, with his heater routinely hitting 96 mph and his curve stays in the low 80's with good deception. His changeup is more of a secondary pitch that needs development, but can use it effectively when he has to. With a little more development, Alzolay can become a force at the major league level.

Milwaukee Brewers: Drew Rasmussen, RHP
With no other top 10 prospects in the Brewers player pool, Rasmussen gets the spot. His fastball consistently reaches the upper 90's with life on it, and his slider paired with the fastball makes a deadly combo if a hitter is sitting on one of those pitches. If that doesn't work, His changeup maxes out in the upper 80's, giving him another weapon. Rasmussen could be a good add to an unstable Brewers rotation in the near future.

St.Louis Cardinals: Dylan Carlson, OF
Carlson will very likely make his highly anticipated debut this season. He's the Cardinals top prospect, and for good reason. He's a switch hitter with above average tools across the board, and does his best against lefties. He has good knowledge of the strike zone and has great pitch recognition, allowing him to drive the ball frequently. He's got average speed, and is merely average in center field, but the upside is there, along with so much potential.

Cincinnati Reds: Nick Lodolo, LHP
Lodolo, the team's number one prospect, seems poised to make the jump to the big leagues this year. He has three above average pitches in his fastball, slider, and breaking ball. He can also mix his fastball with the sinker, both average out at 96 mph on the radar gun. His changeup has good movement, and he can conceal it on his delivery to make it look like a fastball, getting hitters in front of it. Lodolo has excellent command on the hill, which usually translates into success.

Pittsburgh Pirates: Kebryan Hayes, 3B
Hayes, the number 2 prospect in the Pirates system, is one of the best defensive 3rd base prospects you will see, figuring to be an immediate gold glove contender, with his big range, great footwork, and a big arm. Hayes also has above average speed, which helps on the basepaths. At the plate, he has a good approach, but his bat is still behind his defense. Regardless, Hayes can become an impact player at the next level with just a little more work on the hitting side of things.
