Series tied 3-3
Corey Seager has been hitting a ton this postseason. Seager homered again, Walker Buehler silenced the bats, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves by a 3-1 score to force a game 7 after being down 3-1 a few days ago. Seager has now homered 4 times in the NLCS, and has 9 extra base hits and 14 RBI this postseason. In short, he has been a big part of the Dodgers run.

Seager got the scoring started in the first inning, when he crushed a solo homer to right field, putting the Dodgers ahead 1-0. Justin Turner homered right after Seager, making it a 2-0 game on back to back homers. Later that inning, Cody Bellinger hit an RBI single, scoring Max Muncy and making it a 3-0 Dodgers lead. In the 7th, the Braves got on the board on a Ronald Acuna Jr RBI double, but that was all they could muster.

Buehler got the win for the Dodgers in a terrific performance, throwing 6 innings. Buehler allowed no runs on 7 hits, walking no one and striking out 6 Braves hitters. Blake Treinen came in for the 7th inning, being responsible for the RBI double by Acuna. Pedro Baez took the 8th, throwing a perfect inning, and Kenley Jansen got the save in the 9th.

Buehler addressed his demeanor on the mound, saying after the game that "You want to use the adrenaline in big games like this, but sometimes that can spin you out a little bit, even when you feel like you’re embracing it, so, to be honest with you, I’ve never felt that calm in a baseball game, maybe in my career, especially in a spot like that. Barnes steered me through it, that’s really all there is to it. We made the pitches we needed to to get out of it, but the way he guided me through it was about as good as I’ve ever seen."

Turner talked about Buehler's demeanor, saying that "You just watch Buehler's demeanor there, calm and collected, and he ends up getting out of it, and then you see the emotion after the fact, where I think a lot of guys probably get emotional and ride that roller coaster after the first strikeout and maybe lose focus on the next hitter, his mound presence is just unbelievable, and he pitches big game after big game for us."

Max Fried started for the Braves, getting the loss. Fried pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5 hitters. Darren O'Day came on after Fried was lifted, finishing the 7th inning. Chris Martin then came on for the 8th inning, throwing a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and one walk.

Braves manager Brian Snitker talked about the team's game 7 mentality, saying that "Game 7 is another baseball game, it's not 4th and 1, and let me get the first down. It's a baseball game and you have to treat it as such. It's Game 7, it's going to be fun. We like how we're stacked up. We like who's pitching. I think the guys will be excited. It's going to be a fun time to play in it."

Fried talked about the solo homers he gave up to Seager and Turner at the start of the game, which was one of his only serious mistakes. Fried said that "When you throw a letter-high curveball to Seager, he's going to do what he did to it, a fastball right down the middle to Turner, he did the same. I felt like I was searching for it, instead of going after guys and hitting spots."

Game 7 is on Sunday night, where rookie Ian Anderson gets the start for the Braves. The Dodgers will use Dustin May on one days rest, in the opener capacity.
