Last night, the 2021 MLB draft kicked off with the first round and competitive balance round A, with 36 players being selected in just under 4 hours time. Here's a look at everyone who was selected

Analysis:
The first round was insane. The projected first overall pick, Mayer, fell to Boston at 4. Jack Leiter likely rose from 4-5 up to 2. The Tigers reached up for Jobe. The Orioles made more people scratch their heads by choosing Cowser 5th overall. Mozzicato threw 4 straight no hitters this season in high school. It was a shocker that Rocker fell all the way to the Mets at 10, and Watson to Miami at 16.
Sal Frelick is a real good pick for Milwaukee at 15. The Cubs now have a Wick, Wieck, and Wicks on their team, there will undoubtedly be confusion. The Cardinals took Little Big League legend Mike McGreevy. The Max Muncy taken by Oakland is not the Max Muncy who is currently on the Dodgers, and they aren't related. It is also quite a shocker that Ty Madden fell all the way to competitive balance round A.
