One conclusion you could come to right now is that the Philadelphia Phillies are red hot. Kyle Schwarber drove in two runs, JT Realmuto brought in the winning run, and the Phillies rallied to defeat the Miami Marlins with a 4-3 victory on Wednesday night in Philadelphia.

The Phillies found themselves trailing 3-1 entering the bottom half of the 8th, and only had two hits to show so far. Then came the 8th, when they ripped off 3 unanswered runs to take a 4-3 lead and eventually win. Schwarber's two RBI's and Realmuto's go ahead hit accounted for 3 of the 4 runs scored in the win.

It's also a sign of just how hot the Phillies have been lately. In their last 10 games, they have won 9, including a stretch that has now reached 7 wins in a row. They increased their record to 62-48 with the comeback, and currently possess the second wild card spot in the NL.

Asked about the late game rally, Realmuto said that "I just think we have the right guys in this clubhouse. We have a lot of confidence in ourselves. I’ve said this many times before, but we don’t feel like we’re ever out of a game. Our lineup’s too deep. We’re too consistent."

The second inning saw the Marlins take an early lead, with Jacob Stallings hitting an RBI single to score JJ Bleday and make it 1-0 Marlins. It became 2-0 in the 4th when Bleday scored on an RBI single from Charles LeBlanc. In the 6th, Schwarber got the Phillies on the board with an RBI double to make it a 2-1 game.

In the top of the 8th, an RBI double from Bleday scored Billy Hamilton to make it a 3-1 Marlins lead. In the bottom half, Brandon Marsh got the comeback started with an RBI single to make it 3-2. Up next was an RBI single from Schwarber, scoring Bryson Stott to tie the game 3-3. Schwarber then came around to score on Realmuto's go ahead single to put the Phillies ahead by a 4-3 score.

Realmuto said after the game that "These are playoff games. We’re going to face pitchers like that every night once we get to the playoffs. So we just have to do what we do, like I say, grind out our at-bats. It’s not always going to be easy when you’re facing good pitchers like that, but our pitchers are going to keep us in the game, and we’ve just got to grind it out."

Noah Syndergaard got the start for the Phillies, allowing two runs on 6 hits and two walks over 6 innings pitched. Brad Hand pitched a scoreless inning, and Andrew Bellatti got the win by pitching the 8th. Seranthony Dominguez came out for the 9th and picked up his 8th save of the year.

Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara was on the mound. He was cruising through 7 innings, until the 8th. That ballooned his line to 4 runs on 8 hits and one walk, striking out 4 hitters in 7 2/3 innings pitched. He got the loss, and it required Anthony Bender to come on to finish the 8th inning.

Marlins manager Don Mattingly said of the late loss that "It was a little shocking. Everything really pretty much smooth sailing all day. Looked like he was easy velo today. We didn't see anything forced, kind of cruising right through there, pitch count in a good spot. All of a sudden, that little roller down the line, and the floodgates opened."

Up next, the Phillies and Marlins conclude their series on Thursday afternoon. Kyle Gibson takes the mound as the Phillies look to stay hot, while Edward Cabrera started for the Marlins.
