Sometimes you get one hit and everything changes. Ozzie Albies had two RBI's, Eddie Rosario homered, and the Atlanta Braves defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 8-5 victory on Sunday in Phoenix.

Down to their last out in the 9th, Rosario delivered the game winning homer to give the Braves a dramatic win, securing the win in the series with Arizona as well. Trailing 5-3 previously, it's a comeback for the Braves, who are now 35-24 and leading the NL East.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said of the win that "I like how we hung around in that game. It shows the kind of mettle that we have and what these guys are made of."

Orlando Arcia gave the Braves a 1-0 lead in the top of the second with an RBI groundout. Geraldo Perdomo tied it in the bottom half with an RBI double that scored Jake McCarthy. In the 3rd inning, Corbin Carroll hit a solo home run and Josh Rojas hit an RBI single to make it 3-1 D-Backs. Ozzie Albies hit a two run homer in the top of the 4th to tie it 3-3 before Ketel Marte also hit a two run shot in the bottom of the 4th, making it a 5-3 game.

It stayed that way until the 7th inning. Matt Olson started the Braves comeback, hitting a RBI single to center field that scored Ronald Acuna Jr and made it a 5-4 game. Down to their last out, Rosario came up clutch for the Braves, hitting a grand slam to put the Braves ahead 8-5, a lead they held on to for the win.

Braves starter Michael Soroka said of Rosario's grand slam that "You knew he just needed a pitch to hit. Sure enough he got one right down Broadway and he didn’t miss it. It was nice to have him bail us out there."

Getting the start for the Braves was Soroka. He was charged with 5 runs on 7 hits in 3 2/3 innings pitched. Collin McHugh worked 1 1/3 innings before AJ Smith-Shawver threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings in his MLB debut. AJ Minter finished the 8th and Raisel Iglesias got the save in the 9th.

It was Zac Gallen who started for the D-Backs, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits and a walk in 6 innings pitched. Andrew Chafin allowed one run in the 7th before Scott McGough pitched a scoreless 8th. Miguel Castro allowed the grand slam in the 9th, forcing Austin Adams into the game.

Up next, the Braves return home to face the New York Mets on Tuesday night, with Bryce Elder scheduled to start. The D-Backs play the Washington Nationals as well on Tuesday, with Tommy Henry starting.
