The runs are coming en masse right now. Josh Bell homered, Josh Naylor homered twice, and the Cleveland Guardians routed the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 10-1 victory on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.

Through two games this series, the Guardians have outscored the Pirates 21-1 after winning the series opener 11-0. They've won two straight and are an even 5-5 in their last 10, still in second place in the AL Central. Naylor and Bell drove in 8 of the 10 runs scored.

Amed Rosario gave the Guardians a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first inning. Naylor quickly made it 4-0 with a 3 run home run to right field before an RBI single from Myles Straw made it a 5-0 game after one inning. Bell then made it a 7-0 game in the 3rd inning with a two run home run to right field.

Naylor grounded out in the 4th inning, scoring Steven Kwan to make it 8-0 Guardians. Connor Joe gave the Pirates their only run of the day in the 6th inning when he hit a solo home run, making it 8-1. It stayed that way until the 9th inning, when Naylor capped off his big day with a two run home run to make it a 10-1 final.

Logan Allen made his return to the majors for the Guardians, pitching 5 shutout innings while striking out 8 hitters. Eli Morgan allowed a run in the 6th before Trevor Stephan, Enyel De Los Santos, and Tim Herrin pitched scoreless innings to close out the win.

Allen said of his approach on the mound that "I was just attacking guys, trusting more of my stuff on the plate. I was able to land some off-speed and think that really helped because I started getting ahead of guys a little bit better. We got the big lead and I just wanted to get our guys back in the dugout to try to score some more runs."

Mitch Keller got shelled for the Pirates, allowing 8 runs on 10 hits and two walks in 6 innings pitched. Angel Perdomo and Carmen Mlodzinski pitched scoreless innings in the 7th and 8th before Yohan Ramirez allowed two runs in his inning.

Guardians manager Terry Francona said of Keller's start that "Every once in a while, something like that happens. He didn’t get a chance to settle in. He’s good and he will continue to be good, and he stayed out there for a long time and sucked up some innings for them."

Up next, the series wraps up on Wednesday afternoon. The Guardians go for the sweep with Aaron Civale getting the start, while the Pirates counter with veteran lefty Rich Hill.
