This winter could end up being an especially cold one in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Brewers are reportedly open to trading any player on their roster, with no one considered untouchable, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Already this offseason, the Brewers have traded outfielder Mark Canha to the Detroit Tigers and have seen manager Craig Counsell leave for the division rival Chicago Cubs, becoming the highest paid manager in baseball.

Now, the Brewers could be dealing even more pieces. Pitchers Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff, along with shortstop Willy Adames, have been mentioned as players that could be on the trading block. All 3 have been mentioned in trade rumors for the better part of the last year as all enter the final year of their contracts in 2024.

Burnes is the biggest name on the list for the Brewers. After a contentious arbitration hearing that left him upset entering the season, Burnes has been the subject of trade rumors ever since. The Brewers have previously said they don't intend to trade Burnes as recently as last month and expect him to start 2024 with the team.

Woodruff has a more complicated case now. He underwent shoulder surgery during the playoffs and is expected to miss most, if not all of the 2024 season as he recovers. He is projected to earn $11.6 million in arbitration this offseason.

Adames has blossomed since joining the Brewers in 2021 after a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays. He's posted a .774 OPS and 111 OPS+, showcasing the power with 75 home runs in 387 games with the Brewers. He is projected to make $12.4 million in arbitration.
