Texas leads series 3-1
One win away, one win left to get. Corey Seager homered, Marcus Semien drove in 5 runs, and the Texas Rangers rolled past the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 11-7 victory on Tuesday night in Phoenix.

The Rangers have now won 10 straight road games, riding two 5 run innings early in the game to take control early. They now have a commanding 3-1 series lead, sitting one win away from the first World Series title in franchise history.

Rangers 3rd baseman Josh Jung said of their road success that "Any chance that you can get to silence the crowd and hear a pin drop in their stadium, that excites you, that makes you go and that's an adrenaline rush. We've been able to do that a lot this postseason. And it's baseball. Anything can happen. But yeah, I think we take a little pride in doing that."

Jung gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead in the second inning when he scored on a wild pitch. Semien hit a two run triple before Seager added a two run home run, making it 5-0 Rangers quickly. In the 3rd inning, Travis Jankowski hit a two run double before Semien blasted a 3 run home run, making it a 10-0 Rangers lead.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr got the D-Backs on the board in the 4th with a sac fly. In the top of the 8th, Jonah Heim made it 11-1 with a solo home run. In the bottom of the 8th, Tommy Pham drove in a run on a sac fly before Gurriel Jr hit a 3 run home run, cutting the deficit to 11-5. In the 9th, Gabriel Moreno hit a two run single to make it a 11-7 final score.

Semien said that "We’ve had tough days when we face a bullpen day. But the good thing about it is you may find one or two arms that don't have their best stuff. So we definitely pounced on that opportunity in the second and third inning."

Andrew Heaney pitched 5 innings for the Rangers, allowing one run. Dane Dunning and Cody Bradford threw scoreless innings before Brock Burke allowed 3 runs in 1/3 of an inning. Chris Stratton allowed a run in 2/3 of an inning and Will Smith allowed two in 2/3 of an inning. Jose Leclerc also pitched.

Joe Mantiply, Miguel Castro, Kyle Nelson, and Luis Frias combined to allow 10 runs in 3 innings pitched. Ryne Nelson pitched the next 5 1/3 innings, allowing one run while striking out 6 hitters. Andrew Saalfrank pitched 2/3 of an inning.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said that "The challenges are to get the right matchups and get the right pieces in place. We felt like we did that. We just didn't execute. You could see what happened. They had their top three hitters have three at-bats before the bottom of our order had one at-bat. That's unacceptable."

Game 5 of the series is on Wednesday night in Phoenix. Nathan Eovaldi starts for the Rangers as they try to secure the World Series title, while the D-Backs need to win to stay alive with Zac Gallen getting the start.
