Want another rally win? You've got it. Matt Chapman homered, Brett Wisely drove in the game winning run, and the San Francisco Giants defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 7-6 victory Thursday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

Having come back from a 5-1 deficit to win 9-5 on Wednesday, the Giants came back from a 6-2 deficit in the series finale to win their second straight and win the series over the Pirates. They've won 7 of their last 10 games to improve to 25-26, 3rd place in the NL West.

San Francisco manager Bob Melvin said of the two comebacks "A complete team win both games. There are just so many things to love and guys to feel really good about across the board. To win these two games, it took everybody."

Andrew McCutchen gave the Pirates a 1-0 lead right away, hitting a solo home run in the first inning. In the top of the 4th, Thairo Estrada scored on a force out as the Giants got on the board and tied the game 1-1. Joey Bart made it 5-1 Pirates in the bottom of the 4th with a grand slam. Heliot Ramos made it a 5-2 game in the top of the 7th with a solo home run.

Bryan Reynolds got that run back in the bottom of the 7th for the Pirates, hitting a solo homer of his own to make it 6-2. In the 8th, Chapman cut into the deficit in a big way, cranking a 3 run home run to center field to make it a 6-5 game. Wilmer Flores hit an RBI single to tie the game before Wisely hit an RBI single to put the Giants ahead 7-6.

Erik Miller allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings to start the game for the Giants, with Mason Black allowing 4 runs in 2 2/3 innings. Taylor Rogers pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings before Luke Jackson allowed a run in the 7th. Randy Rodriguez and Tyler Rogers pitched scoreless innings to seal the win.

Paul Skenes was the starting pitcher for the Pirates and pitched 6 innings of one run ball with 3 strikeouts. Jose Hernandez allowed a run in 2/3 of an inning before Hunter Stratton was charged with 5 runs in 2/3 of an inning. Aroldis Chapman also pitched 2/3 of an inning while David Bednar worked a clean 9th inning.

Asked about the two straight losses in comeback fashion, Pirates manager Derek Shelton said "It's a concern. Our bullpen's got to be better. We have, what, a 5-1 lead yesterday? 6-2 lead today? We have to be better. Our bullpen has to be better. We have to win games like that."

Up next, the Giants head east to start a weekend series against the New York Mets, with Kyle Harrison starting the series opener on Friday. The Pirates host the Atlanta Braves for the weekend, with the series opening start going to Bailey Falter.
