Mini home run derby anyone? Josh Naylor homered twice, the Guardians offense hit 4 home runs, and the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Colorado Rockies with a 13-7 victory Tuesday night in Denver.

The Guardians are once again on a tear, winning for the 9th time in 10 games. Jose Ramirez, one of the home run hitters for Cleveland, extended his RBI streak to 7 games and now has 56 on the season, leading the league. 3 hitters for the Guardians drove in multiple runs.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said after the game that "Every time they scored, we came back and answered. That’s what this group of guys does. They expect it. They demand it of themselves, and go out and get it done."

Ramirez made it 2-0 Guardians in the first inning with a two run home run to center field. Kris Bryant tied the game in the 3rd for the Rockies with a two run shot of his own. In the top of the 4th, a pair of Cleveland sac flies made it 4-2. Elehuris Montero tied it for the Rockies in the bottom of the 4th with a two run home run. In the 5th, Naylor hit a two run home run and Kyle Manzardo added an RBI single to make it 7-4 Guardians.

Charlie Blackmon hit an RBI single, Montero scored on a wild pitch, and Ryan McMahon hit an RBI single in the 6th to tie the game 7-7. In the 7th inning, David Fry broke the game open with a 3 run home run to make it 10-7 Cleveland. Naylor added a 3 run shot of his own in the 8th to make it a 13-7 lead for the Guardians.

Starting pitcher Triston McKenzie said of Naylor's two homer game that "You love to see him hit the ball. But I think when you know how hard he works and how much he’s been through just this month, to watch him go out and have a big night tonight was huge."

McKenzie allowed 4 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings in his start for the Guardians. Nick Sandlin allowed two runs and Tim Herrin allowed a run before Cade Smith got the win with 1 1/3 scoreless innings. Hunter Gaddis and Sam Hentges pitched an inning each to seal the win.

Ryan Feltner took the mound in the start for the Rockies, charged with 7 runs on 8 hits and two walks over 4 1/3 innings, getting just one strikeout. Peter Lambert got the loss with one run allowed in a pair of innings. Matt Carasiti gave up 5 runs in 1 2/3 innings and Victor Vodnik pitched a scoreless 9th inning.

The final game of the series is set for Wednesday night. Both teams are going for the series win, with Logan Allen getting the start on the mound for the Guardians, opposed by Ty Blach of the Rockies.
