Big Dumper just delivered a big win. Luke Raley tied the game, Cal Raleigh delivered the walk off, and the Seattle Mariners defeated the Chicago White Sox with a 8-4 victory Monday night in Seattle.

Coming off a series loss to the Kansas City Royals, the Mariners still picked up their 7th win in 10 games, sitting at 38-30 and leading the AL West. This time, they found themselves in a 4-0 deficit before scoring 8 runs over the final two innings to stun the White Sox and go home happy.

After the first 5 innings were scoreless, Luis Robert Jr got the White Sox on the board in the 6th, blasting a two run home run to left field. In the 7th inning, Lenyn Sosa made it 3-0 White Sox as Andrew Vaughn scored on his single. Corey Julks hit a solo home run in the top of the 8th, making it 4-0 White Sox.

Dominic Canzone got the rally started in the bottom of the 8th with a solo home run. Mitch Haniger then cut the deficit to one run, making it 4-3 with a two run single. Raley then tied the game as Josh Rojas scored on his bunt single. In the 9th, Raleigh gave Seattle the win with a walk off grand slam to right field.

Seattle manager Scott Servais said of the team's comeback "Just keep grinding and keep going and keep going. If you really lean on each other, you have an opportunity for big things to happen at the end of the game. This won’t be the last time we do that. I feel very strongly about that."

Logan Gilbert allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, striking out 8 in 6 2/3 innings in his start for the Mariners. Matt Bowman and Kirby Snead each pitched 2/3 of an inning, with Bowman allowing a run. Ryne Stanek pitched a scoreless 9th inning.

Erick Fedde turned in a strong start for the White Sox, allowing one run on 5 hits and a walk in 7 innings pitched. Michael Kopech got a blown save, allowing 3 runs in 2/3 of an inning. Jordan Leasure got the loss, allowing the 4 runs in the 9th.

Kopech said of his blown save that "To be blunt, Fedde pitched his tail off, and I kind of gave away a really well-played game by us. I had a chance to get out of it in a couple scenarios there, and the results of me overthrowing instead of pitching kind of gave them the opportunity to put some runs on the board. I made the leverage higher and higher by not executing. Just not doing my job there is disappointing, to say the least."

The middle game of the series is set for Tuesday night. Bryan Woo starts for the Mariners as they go for their 3rd straight win, while the White Sox look to get back in the win column as Drew Thorpe will make his major league debut.
